Bioethanol Fireplaces

In todays blog post we wanted to introduce bioethanol fireplaces and why they are so brilliant! Not only do they look stylish and contemporary they are also environmentally friendly. Bioethanol is a biofuel that is derived from plants including corn, wheat, barley and sugarcane. We love our Cocoon suspended fireplace that we have in our studio, around this time of year its so lovely to put it on first thing in the morning and to be able to work in a cosy warm environment throughout the day. The suspended design means we have adjustability in the hanging fireplace, the hanging pole is adjustable to six different heights with a 360 rotation. It is also super cost effective to run!

Bioethanol fireplaces are safe and a clean renewable energy source that comes in liquid form and creates a vibrant no odour clean burning flame that is safe for the user and for the environment. The Cocoon fireplace produces as little CO2 as a candle! We love how easy and simple it is to light and it creates such a lovely warm glow in our studio.

What we really like about our cocoon fire is that there is no need for a flue which means there are endless installation possibilities.

From suspended fireplaces to freestanding and even wall mounted fireplaces there are super versatile and come in a range of sizes. They would bring a warm contemporary feel to your home interior. We particularly like the idea of the wall mounted fireplace in a living room to create an intimate feel. As these fires are so versatile they can also be used outdoors to create a lovely and relaxed atmosphere.
