Before and after…
In todays blog post we wanted to share with you some before and after photos of a project we had taken on. This project was quite the transformation! The project was a living room re-design, it was something the whole team really enjoyed and as you will see from the photos below it was a rather big change!
As you can see from the images the current design was very traditional. We wanted to pick out elements of colours from the old living room to add a brighter more modern version. You can see in the after images we kept elements of the red tones in the cushions and added beautiful hues of purple in the arm chair, table lamps and cushions. We also kept the ceiling light fixture this worked really well with the new look of the living room. The space feels a lot more open and bigger thanks to the neutral toned sofa and rug. We painted the walls also in a neutral tone to lift the room and make it a brighter space.
The outcome feels refreshed and modern although some traditional aspects were kept. On a whole the living room looks brighter and more spacious. The lighter tone of the stylish sofa makes the living room feel modern with the added cushions in red and purple tones to add a pop of colour.
The tables featured are especially one of our favourite elements in the design, they are truly bespoke as each table is exclusively created, modelled and painted by hand in Rome, the handwork makes each piece unique. They really emphasise a balance between art, design and craftsmanship.
The cosy corner sofa in this project is a beautiful focal point, the perfect combination of comfort and simplicity supported by a modern touch, it works so well placed in the corner of the living room along with the beautiful side table and table lamp where the shade compliments the colour of the armchair. The rich tones of this area of the living room really make it feel like a cosy and comfortable place, the perfect area to relax!
