Out of the Ordinary Décor

We love coming across different brands that do out of the ordinary décor. We especially love when we have clients who are wanting something a little different for their home interior. A previous client with a sense of fun who wanted something a bit different, where we specified different sized spherical lights above the pool. The outcome looked fantastic and really unique. The back wall of this project is currently being decorated with a photographic mural, this is something we are really excited about and we can’t wait to see the outcome.

We have just incorporated this fantastic giraffe light design into our product portfolio. The brand is Qeeboo who do some amazing unique pieces. They are an Italian brand that produce furniture and accessories. The brand was launched in 2016 by Stefano Giovannoni, Qeeboo has a playful narrative approach which integrates different styles and characters.

The truly eye catching Giraffe in Love piece is on of our favourite pieces.  It is a dreamy giraffe holding a classic Marie-Thérèse style chandelier. “Giraffe in Love” represents irony and lightness: the giraffe is in love but she does not know it yet because her heart is far from her head and she lives love light-heartedly. The giraffes range in sizes and can even be an outdoor feature as they have a wind and water resistant chandelier. Qeeboo also do this piece as a wall light too.

If the thought of a giant giraffe isn’t for you but you still like the idea of bringing some fun and quirky designs into your home then one way to do this is through accents such as table lamps. We installed this beautiful flamingo lamp into one of our most recent projects and it really injects a sense of fun into the interior without distracting away from the other lovely furniture in the room.

This stunning piece will also complement eclectic spaces and makes a lovely statement piece for more minimal homes.
